This is The Candlewala. A small idea that started with family, soy wax, and one very determined little brother.

Meet Hari. He’s six years younger than me, and after six years of trying (and failing) to land a job, we decided to stop waiting for the world to say yes. So I built him a job instead. Now, every single candle that leaves Candlewala has been hand-packed and proudly dispatched by Hari himself.

What goes inside the candles? Only the good stuff.

• Cotton wicks
• 100% vegan ingredients
• A big spoonful of pyaar (love, the secret ingredient)

What doesn’t go inside? Plastic, paraffin, or anything that makes you screw up your health.

Our candles are inspired by the scents we grew up with — from nimbu pani and a rose fallooda on hot afternoons to garam chai that could cure any bad day. Think nostalgia, bottled up, and lit (safely, of course).

So when you light our candles, you’re not just making your home smell brilliant. You’re also giving Hari a reason to smile every day.
